I wanted a domain name with something that was easy to say, preferably a .com, and had some roots in my name or something techie. After looking at some available domains like huang.sh or huang.pl (too expensive and obscure) it struck me maybe an common code extension like "sh, php, pl" would be cool but obviously they'd be already taken. So I thought about trying NATO speak for these extensions, played around with some combinations, but found just one that was composed of two four letter words that stood for perl (the first web language I used so have a soft spot for it) and found happily that papalima was free, so that was it. Kiat
And I thought that papalima meant father of five:)
